Instructions for Authors (Conference Proceedings):

IMPORTANT: Authors are required to submit their revised manuscript through the Microsoft CMT platform here. From the author console, click on “Upload Revision” to upload your revised manuscript. Do not anonymize submissions. Author names, affiliations, and acknowledgements should be included.

• • Submission deadline: May 15th, 2026
  • All proceedings will be compiled into a PDF book that will be available to all IWBI attendees
  • After the conference, all proceedings will be made publicly available on the Zenodo repository, with a permanent DOI

• LENGTH: 4 to 10 pages, including references
• FILE TYPE: PDF only
• MARGINS LETTER-SIZE: .88 in left/right, 1.0 in top, 1.25 in bottom
• MARGINS A4-SIZE: 1.93 cm left/right, 2.54 cm top, 4.94 cm bottom
• FONTS: Standard non-serif fonts (Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, or equivalent)
• SPACING: Single space all text in one column. Allow extra space between paragraphs

Authors must use the IWBI 2026 Extended Abstract TemplateExtended_abstract_template_for_IWBI_2026 2. This template differs from the shorter 2-4 page abstract version in the following ways:

• Page Limit: Extended abstracts may be up to 10 pages, including references
• No Anonymization: Author names, affiliations, and acknowledgements are included
• SECTIONS: Use the following structure:
  
  • Structured abstract
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results and discussion
  • Conclusions
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)

• REFERENCES:
  
  • References should be numbered in the order cited in the text
  • In-text citations may use superscript or bracketed numbers
  • Entries should follow APA formatting conventions (author name, title, journal, DOI, etc.) but appear in a numbered list
